Theme: ”Recovery from the Kumamoto Earthquake and Smart Technology”
The Kumamoto Earthquake in 2016 not only killed precious lives, but also damaged houses, important cultural assets, and public facilities. Farmland was not an exception, and was severely damaged due to cracks, uneven ground, and liquefaction.
In this special lecture, with the theme of recovery from the massive earthquake, we will introduce the case studies of the recovery and reconstruction efforts over the past five years and the demonstration of smart agriculture in Aso region. This session will be provided only in Japanese.
